At the moment, I am jobless. Now that sounds like such a cliché statement.

I will be migrating to another country next month and I had to resign from my previous company. So, I have been jobless for close to 48 hours now. To be honest, I am a little worried about getting a job in another country. I have confidence issues and usually my family support me in boosting up my morale.

I usually don't like to take anything ( be it money or materialistic things) from others. So, I don't want to take anything even from my family and I am sure, I need to manage my finances a little, before I find another job.
So, how do you manage them(tips please)? Do you usually switch to a temporary job or do freelance work? How do you tackle such situations?

Well, are you sure that you have been hired in some other country? When is your appointment and when will you start the job? I would personally depend on my personal savings if I become jobless and I think that this is what many people usually do.

I don't have any offer at the moment. My husband got the job offer and now I had to move as well, as he believes that it's a good opportunity. So, I had to put down my papers to pursue jobs in that country.

In my country, I don't really feel inferior as I usually get at least 3-4 job offers easily in a month or two but in a new country, I don't have the confidence to stand out, from the rest of the crowd. That's what makes me really nervous these days.

So, till I get a job I need to manage my finances well and I need some tips to get a better idea of doing that. I do have savings but I am not sure if they can help me in the long run, if I don't get a job soon.

I think that things would become harder for you only if you travel to a country where your native language is not spoken. I have also lived in some countries where my native language was not spoken and I used to have issues.

I sincerely thank that if you are you sure that you have been hired in some other country? When is your appointment and when will you start the job? I would personally depend on my personal savings if I become jobless and I think that this is what many people usually do.

Getting a new job in a new country can be challenging and this may make a person deal with many new issues. You are in an entirely new country where people may not know who you are.

I don't know your level of expertise and how much experience you have but the first thing you need to do is to apply for jobs in the new country you're going to so if you're lucky to get one before leaving, relocation will not be difficult.

I think that you have a high chance of getting a job as a foreigner in some other country if you have the right sort of expertise, skills, and experience required for the job. There are many people who work in the middle east.

Are you certain that you have been hired in another nation?
When are you scheduled to arrive and when will you begin working?
If I lost my job, I would personally rely on my personal savings, and I believe that this is what most individuals often do.

I've never had to switch jobs so fast, but I think if you have some money saved that can take you at least two months, it can help you. You can also put in extra time into working online to help with some expenses.

If you will want to switch jobs then I will advise that you should start planning ahead of them especially if it is something that is going to warrant that you should move to another city.

I think that a person must always keep investing some amount of money so that he may survive by gaining some amount of profits each month when there is no job.

Thank you and I am trying to make do with my savings at the moment. However, I have underestimated the expenses in setting up a new house, in another country.

Over here the cost of living is a bit too much and my savings are getting dried up at an alarming rate. I will have to get a job soon or else ...I don't want to think about it. Hopefully I will be able to get something soon.

The thing is, as it's almost year-end, not many companies have openings out there and for my skills, there are hardly any positions left. So the future looks bleak to me :( I am taking up online jobs but I they are not enough to make the ends meet.

Consider that a person should always invest some money in order to survive by earning some profit each month when there is no job.

Yes, you are right. You must need a secondary option when you do not have a job. There are many people who invest money and then they have enough money that helps them survive when there are no jobs at all. They earn monthly profits,.

I think base on you kind of person and the fact that you will be going for a job outside the country, you will need to have a part time job so that you will be able to take care of your needs.

Actually I think making such kind of decision sometimes should depends on your financial status because you can't or just have to quit your job because you are expecting another and decide to stay idle for a while it will makes you financial handicap.

I think that the best way to manage finances would be to make sure that you get the job at the right time before things get hard for you. This is why people must understand the importance of getting the job at the right time before they run out of cash reserves.

Yes you're absolutely right by saying this, even though some countries tends to have there different format the other way round, but I think this one will definitely help.

It is not good to quit a job even when you're sure of getting another because anything can happen. A bird at hand is better than two in the forest. So try to do personal investment even as you are changing jobs to keep you finance balance.
