If you cannot spend money to take care of your poultry then poultry business is not for him, i beleieve the hens needs taking care of by vets , buying the neccesary drugs and mixing it with their food or sometimes with water will avoid the death, but al some people want is the gain, they don't want to spend any money.

Almost everything in this life is about money, you can get a vet doctor and pay him for the service to check the chicken and prescribe you the best drug to be using for them to get better

I think you should advise him to stop this business. Poultry business like any other businesses is not an easy thing to do. You need that all the chickens should not be dying.
