This question or topic is obviously on a case to case basis. It depends on the type of work that you do. There are the so called micro tasks that you will be asked to write an article about a rare topic or maybe promote a product. Maybe I can safely say that my hourly rate for online work is roughly 50 cents per hour. But that is on forum posting only.
Get an idea from the charges charged by people who already render the type of services you're about rendering per hour. That should give out a perfect idea in setting your own rate per hour tooI know this will likely come down to what service you are offering and whether or not it is a skilled task or not, but generally speaking, how do you determine what you make per hour?
Is there a formula you can apply to any task that will be reasonable? I am not sure what to charge people online for services.
No matter how you bill clients, however, you first need to figure out how much to charge -- even if you charge a fixed fee for the whole project. You can't determine how much your fixed fee should be unless you know roughly how many hours the job will take and what you need to earn per hour to make it worth your while.
If you're experienced in your field, you probably already know what to charge because you are familiar with market conditions. However, if you're just starting out, you may have no idea what you can or should charge. If you're in this boat, try using a two-step approach to determine your hourly rate:
- Calculate what your rate should be, based on your expenses.
- Investigate the marketplace to see if you should adjust your rate up or down
True to the fact,it really depends on the quality of the job that you are offering to your clients, because the value you add is what will determine the price you will charge at the end of the day.The mental work, time and technique you put into the job will be included in your charge.I think its depend upon which type of service you are obtaining with online service.I think in start according to the growth of your bussiness you will calculate per hour income and as bussiness grow faster increase per hour online service
