I mean, there are all these videos online on learning them in 1 hour or 8 hours or whatever. What can the brain grasp out of them? Do you feel those videos are worth it and by how much?

They don’t teach you how to program. They teach you the grammar and syntax of a language and at best a crash course of how to build a specific thing. Which is fine if you only want to build a specific thing.
Odds are I’d get more out of one than someone unfamiliar to programming because I already know what programming (the actual problem solving part) is about, all I need to get started in a new language are the terms/grammar/syntax and its idioms and idiosyncrasies.

It took me several years to learn JavaScript seeing as I could never understand much of it until jQuery came around and I started using both hand-in-hand and became more familiar with vanilla JavaScript in doing so. I would love to learn React JS, but I have watched a few courses about it and just can't really grasp the newer technologies of it all or I just give up too quickly.

I'm grasping things quick on the BroCode Python video. Also, I am going to attempt a coding camp this coming summer.
If you ahve the knowledge and who is willing to learn it can depend on each person, For, it would be taken awhile since I have a learning disability

It all depends on the time, of course. I mean, I could donate all my time to studying things, but I have a wife and kid to support - despite the fact, financially, studying makes me big money in the long run.
