I'm curious as to how artists/painter get the right evaluation or worth for their painting?
Also do you think being an artist who does paintings, murals and art generally can turn out to be a successful business man based on the works he does.
What other means of advertisement is there for an artist asides posting his/her work on social media platforms?

For artists who paint pictures (works of art), the best way to evaluate the cost is with specialists, although I believe that they themselves, knowing the matter, have the approximate price of their work. In my country there are museums dedicated to exhibitions and it is the best way to show your work and sell it. And indeed if they do quality work, they are sure to be successful.

There is no way an artist can get value for their art design other than being creative and aesthetic with their design. Meanwhile, there is no fixed price or value for any art. It is the appreciativeness of the buyer to determine how much to pay but in most cases most of them do pay high just to compensate the creativeness of the artist.

I have many artist friends who are mostly into visual arts called painting. The cost of their art work depends on the expenses. Usually they price their piece double the amount of expenses. But when they think the painting is too good then they increase the price. It is always subjective in taste that sometimes the artist would ask someone to rate his artwork in terms of price. One friend had a painting of a different medium - no paint but only chicken feathers to form the images. It was a big frame like 2 feet by 3 feet. He was selling it for 50,000 pesos (that's $1,000) but there were no takers. When he learned of the Philip Morris art contest he joined that art work. He won grand prize with the cash of 1,000,000 Pesos ($20k) plus a trip to China to exhibit his artwork. I was there in the awarding ceremony.

You can have the right value for arts if it has copy right protection laws. That law protect your art work not to be plagiarised. That's the best way protect your art work, because these days people plagiarised others people arts and making them to run at loss after they have put so much money into the work.

You are right. Selling to museums is always better than trying to sell it to any other person. They have a specific range of prices that they always pay. So, it is difficult not to get value for money at the end of the day.

Works of art are pretty valuable assets to those that understand their value and are enthusiastic about them, for an artiste that does painting works, he ought to know the price or value that he attaches to his work.
What determines the value of an artist's painting is the quality of work that the artiste put into each of the work that he does, most times the artist understand that the value he attaches to his work will determine how his works will be respected.

There's no know criteria that is used to determine the price of an art work, most times arts that was done by a a well-known artist or arts that are deemed to have around for a long time tends to fetch more money while selling them. For an artist the mode of advertising his arts can be through social media or art exhibitions.

Making and Preparing Art. Use the highest quality materials you can afford. Select frames that complement your work and are well made. See that your mats are cut meticulously. Ensure that all 2-D art rests flat against the wall. Sign your art

Yes, I think it is the best way, and museums have the right people who do the evaluation of the works. I have a friend who studied at the University of Arts, and so far that he is starting, he has managed to do several exhibitions and the earnings have been incredible. I think he will go far.

Always put up your art work for reviews and ratings. When you're getting up to 4 to 5 star ratings for your art work, it means that such work is valuable and shouldn't be sold for penny. I have seen some art works sold at $5,000.

You can check the value of your art by show casing it in art galleries. There are online art websites that can also help you with this. Exhibition's should also be your friend . know where and when the next art exhibition would be holding and secure a spot. You mighty be surprised people would value your work and pay high price to get it. Just last year, don jazzy paid an artist about 300k for an amazing art work

I was amazed with the gesture Don Jazzy did for the art owner. The art was initially 250k I think but he got paid 300k. He was even an honest guy, by coming back to tell Don Jazzy he overpaid for the art, but Jazzy ask him to take it because the art was worth it.

I think such things are left to the artists and the specialists in the area to decide.
Most of these people you see around have probably been painting all their life, so they actually know the intricacies and their way around these paintings.
Also there's exhibition, when it is placed out and there's a bid for it you then see what it's worth.

I think the value for art will depend on the quality of the art and also the size, though some customers might not know the real value for an art. The best way to advertise an art will be through social media

The estimation of craftsmanship is to a great extent emotional and market driven. The expense of crude materials utilized in creating a work of art, figure or establishment is just a little level of the last expense to the customer. This is valid in numerous fields, not just craftsmanship. Think about the average visit by a handyman, who may discover an issue, supplant a section and take under 30 minutes to do the work. Presently consider how much that visit will cost. Much more than the 20 minutes worth of time and the expense of the line. That is on the grounds that he has a specific aptitude that you don't, and it cost cash.

Artwork is a lot of the equivalent, just even less unsurprising, on the grounds that no one requirements a piece of craftsmanship. Individuals need craftsmanship, and they need it for various reasons.

An artist can always post his work on main stream media to begin with. Social media is not the only place to showcase his or her prowess in the arts. He can even volunteer to render his services to media houses to showcase his skills further

I think they derive their evaluation based on the ancient or how important the blueprint of the art is narrating, there are some valuable ancient images that should be forgotten but with the help of our painter and artist we get to see their image more often and likewise sometimes tells a story about the art.
