Well, I don't really buy the idea of retaining a customer manually. Everything you are doing to retain them will seen like you are trying to play a game with them and they might end up going away. Just do your business with them and let them decide whether to stay with you or not.

what I practically do is making sure I give them the best treatment, Give them incentives when I'm supposed to, even I send them new month messages and give them bonanzas when need be. With all these, they automatically retain themselves for me. That's the trick I use.
