The Backup section in the CPanel (Control Panel) enables you to protect your existing hosting account, configurations, and files in case of crash, misconfiguration or cyber attacks.

It is advisable to maintain personal backups on your local computer for quick recovery in case of any issues.

I haven't done this cpanel backup before lol.

Have you done it before? how smooth was the process or did you encounter issues on the way?

"back in the day" I used to do it weekly and then download using ftp onto my personal computer... never had any issues with it, but obviously it would depend on how big your website is and how often you wanted to back up. Not practical to do daily or hourly etc.
