Do you see similar forums as competition or do you not aim to be bigger then them and get on well with them and share ideas?

To be frank, I find competitions the best part of life because it is an improving factor, so to speak. In business a monopoly can stagnate like what happened in the beer industry here. Since I was born it was always San Miguel. But when a competition was born (Asia Brewery) in the 1980s there had to be some creative changes in San Miguel.

I do not own a forum therefore, I cannot answer this as a forum owner, but in the eyes of poster, I think you can outsmart your competitors. Sometimes it is also possible to exist side by side.

Competition all the way and if it's a healthy competition, the better. I would say the competition is the key to success and keeps one motivated for doing better. I would suggest owners of any forum/site start a competition within to instigate interest to do even better.

These days competite among each other these is is be more creative and innovative, any forum or business that does not have healthy competition will not be able to improve.

To me I don't feel there should be competition between form although no business without competition, but for forum should not be considered as competition because7 billions of people are on earth and half can operate computer.

For now, i don't own a forum. When i eventually own one, i guess i would see similar forums as a competition and i would definitely aim to be bigger than them.
