Facebook IS planning to change it's name to Meta

They have changed it already. There are some times that when I open WhatsApp I'll see it down below with the world ,"from meta" maybe they are starting from WhatsApp , probably they will change it on Facebook soon

Actually I haven't come across such an update but I believe they have several reasons for such changes which I believe it's for the best and better of services to be provided.

This is one of the things that I think the company has gotten very right. People are already associating Facebook with a lot of scandals and as such it is going to be important that they dissociated herself in order to protect their other subsidiaries.

That is just the onservation i have noticed about the name change,i was thinking that the name will just replect automatically on all their fomer brand,but the social media still remains facebook while the brand name is meta.

Yeah I noticed this too. I think the company realized that sticking to the name "Facebook" gave it more appeal than switching to Meta. This is why they haven't lost users to other platforms.

Though they have change the name,but the transition would be gradual,because in some of their pacages like the advert manager the inscrption is meta,and this is delibrate as the transition will take some time.

I never thought of that. If these changes are going to be gradual, then people won't really notice and the transition from Facebook to Meta will be done seamlessly without controversy.

You are right , though they are planning to change their name to meta and the mam has even been appearing on whatsapp , but not that easy to remove a name Just anyhow.
