Facebook IS planning to change it's name to Meta

I've actually come across the innovation in Mark Zuckerberg's page. I thought it's all about rebranding although I think the app name would still be Facebook but MetaVerse is just subsumed into it. How did Facebook contribute in driving people apart?

I've seen ready player one. It was such an interesting watch. If Facebook plans to go that route, that's a welcome development. It would be fun just by thinking about it. However, people have indeed grown apart physically but I do not think this would solve the problem.

The simple truth of the matter is that I don't really care about what name Facebook bears because I don't really have time to actually make use of the social Media platform the way I used to some years ago.

I have been waiting for someone to post something about Facebooks name change for quite sometime, But i guess i decided to do it myself.
Facebook A platform that was initially built for Harvard students, Now a multi billion dollar company, Over the years it has unsurprisingly acquired enemies.
According to an article on Newser.com Facebook has been accused of driving people apart. And i think this is the reason behind Facebooks name change.

This is an example of the metaverse, I don't know about you, but whatever people said about Facebook will be reconsidered if they succeed on launching this.
The metaverse is a virtual reality that is aimed at getting the world closer to each other than ever recorded in history, am vert sure of that.

I actually noticed something new on my WhatsApp, where there used to be *WhatsApp from Facebook* was replaced with *WhatsApp from meta*.
Your explanation brings me to the light now. I hope this new innovation will be best for everyone.

I think facebook should try to improve their policies and terms of service rather than changing names. They allow offensive content and do nothing when people report such content.

Facebook product did not change the name it is the same Facebook. Bu facebook company name changed. It changed Facebook to Meta.

that's very true , Facebook will bring many people closer but I believe it has it own disadvantage,if the name of Facebook was changed many things will totally change on also.

The change of name didn't affect the name of the app the name. The changes of name is just to be able to venture to other fields of science and businesses which cannot be achieve in the name is not changed.

You are right, but we cannot do anything. I have reported offensive material several times, yet they do nothing about it. I am not the only one who has noticed this, there are many people who have had similar bad experiences.

The creation of metal was as lead to the advent of virtual reality. People are now creating different types of virtual reality. There was a time some people are organising party through virtual reality.

This is actually something that Mark Zuckerberg has already done with his social media application called Facebook and I don't even understand the essence or importance of that.
