Ever caught someone shoplifting?

I was once in a convenient store where two school girls were caught shoplifting. The saleswoman caught them with a lot of chocolates hidden inside their shirt. When the girls were caught, they started crying. I felt so pity on them that I asked the manager to let them go and even bought them some chocolates.

Nope, I don't have the time to look at others when I'm shopping. I simply mind my business, pay for what I want and leave the store. They have security guards whom it's their job to catch shoplifters.

Yes, I've caught someone shoplifting when I was shopping in Walmart some years ago. I had to call the attention of the security guard to what happened. I didn't stay back to find out what later happened.

I haven't been in a position to catch anyone who's shoplifting. If I did see anyone doing it, I will record him or her with my smartphone and take it to security.
