Do you let members delete their own accounts?

Have given them permission to delete their own accounts from my website. I feel each individual has the right to manage their own account. If they feel it is unnecessary, then they can delete their account. It's good to let go of persons who aren't interested in your forum anymore. They would just use resources without contributing anything useful to the community.

I think members must inform you before deleting their accounts with a valid reason. Why do they want to leave? Maybe because of their inability to continue further for any personal/professional reason. But it's good to have an idea about when someone wants to leave.

I think that having a system in place where you have to request the admin to delete your account is probably a good way to go, and of course if they don't have a reason for leaving the admin can still process the deletion however this will also give the admin a chance in order to try and see the reason for them leaving and if there is something that they could implement in order to resolve one of the problems, and i think that this is very important for continuous development.

I don't let members delete their accounts, however, they can ask the admin to delete their accounts. The accounts will be deleted if they offer valid reasons, however, users who have received incentives for making posts cannot ask their accounts to get deleted because they have been paid.

No, I will never allow any of my forum members to delete their account. I won't even allow them to delete their contents. If I won't let them delete a comment post, why would I let them delete their account? I can remove their profile if they want but I won't remove a single post they've made.
