Do badges and trophies encourage you to post more on a forum?

I will rather be straight on the topic. Why am I posting on this forum or other similar forum? Yeah! That's correct, I earn from posting. I do not care what badges and trophies I get on these forums, I care about how much I can earn by working for a certain hour.

I dont really value and count badges and trophy as an achievement so they don't move me at all , I prefer working hard to reach my daily target rather than getting motivated by trophy.

Nooo, two things that encourages me to post more are timely payments of my earnings and secondly, when I see uplifting and informative posts, I tend to join the discussion m matter what.

Websites admin(s) really know how to ginger or encourage members. I started seeing some title written under my user name in this forum and I was like, yes, I am really working here. Though I don't know which one comes before the other, but i really feel good inside. Since then, I keep watching when I will be given another title. It is just my opinion.

The badges and trophies are just for cosmetic effects. It doesn't add any penny to my earning so I don't get encouraged to post because of the trophies but rather I post to earn more coins.

I will speak personally about myself,because a lot of persons have diiferent motivations that makes them stay matovated in a forum,and as for me trophies and badges does not really make that much fifference to me.

The point is that we have different kind of people. Adding batch and trophies is a functionality a site should also possess as they likely have their own part to play in websites. There are some user that finds the batch fun and interesting while some just don't really care. But it is a good feature because it adds beauty to users.
