I think investment is also part of savings is just that the value of your finances increases compared to when you just save it.

There are no much difference between saving and investment, the only difference in investment is that in saving you would gain interest

When you listen to the evening news and hear reports that the global economy had a great day, do you find yourself wishing you were investing? If so, you’re certainly not alone. According to a Gallup poll, only about 55% of Americans invest in the stock market.

Savings is the money you keep in the bank for future use while investment is can be a business setup for profit making. When you save money, you don't make profit from saving

In my current country, savings is considered investment when the Central Bank increases the interest rate. For ex., more or less 10 years ago, savings were generating a 15% of yearly interests, equalizing some stocks.

Difference between saving money and investment when one saved money he or she does not expect an increase in that money but when one invest it is sure to bring more money cause investment grows over time.

Investment and saving are quite different. Investment is putting your money on a business expecting a larger return while saving is keeping your money for future use.

I can classify savings as dormant or sleeping amount of money while investment is the active amount of money. Money kept in a place for a period of time would remain there without bearing fruits or improvement. But the money sent on errands would go and come back multiplied. These are differences between savings and investment.

The words 'Saving' and 'Investments' are sometimes used interchangeably by most folks.
The two words have some similarities but that doesn't make them the same.

"There's a popular saying that Savings are investments, but not all investments are savings"

Saving actually means keeping some amount of money aside to meet long or short-term needs which may not yield any profit and it attracts zero risk.

On the other Hand, investment means putting money into a business or venture to yield profits within a specific period with risks depending on the targeted roi.
I don't believe that saying that goes like " al savings are investment and not all investments are savings. Saving will not increase your money while investment will.

Saving and investing are different though closely related. Investing is a form of putting back money into business for the purpose of getting additional income while saving is putting money away for the purpose of meeting a long term need

Savings is a reduction in cost or expenditures or its also means keeping money aside to meet long or short term period....investment means putting money into a business or venture to yield profit
Savings I will say is a certain amount of money kept for future use while investment is an amount of money giving you in business to yield more. There is no risk involved in savings while it is possible to lose ones investment.

both has to do with money. In saving, little or no profit is gotten while in investment, there is a fix amount of profit to be acquired.

a lot of people to save their money in the bank and in this type of saving you are not expected to gain any interest in return of what you saved, but for investment it is expected for you to gain a certain percentage of whatever you invest within a period of time, investment can be risky if it is not from a trusted government organisation.

To my opinion or point of view investment as the name implies is to inject your available resources or money into a business or the purchase of property which can be sold in the future to earned profit while savings is to keep safe your resources mostly money not to be spent immediately.

Saving is particularly done for the secure future to get financial assistance during the time of emergencies.
Where else investments are done for a particular period of time to get a marginal profit on the invested amount.

some difference between saving and investment are, there is no need of expecting profit in saving where as investment brings profit. secondly, saving involves no risks where as investment involves risks, either you will gain or lose.

Saving and investment deals with putting your money somewhere , but in saving you can only get little or non profit but if you invest your money into a business , you gain more .

Saving and investment is two different things, saving the owner can keep it with the intention of using it one day while investment the owner will invest it with the purpose of getting profit from it

The two terms are actually different in the register of business. Savings entails putting your money away for specific time at specific rates of interest, investment sometimes doesn't happen that way. Also savings has less risk compared to investment.
