Dealing with copycats?

I really don't think there is any punishment for copying other people template to create a new website. With my years of experience in Website development, I don't see anything wrong with that

It is more likely you see a site with a similar theme probably because you just the same site to build it. But in cases where you will have to contend with someone who steals your content and ideas, that's annoying and can be reported.

Truth is they can't copy your ideas for so long. Keep tweaking and changing your patterns. Also work on getting your site in front of a lot of people so they see that you did this stuff first.
Otherwise you can report the site too

That's insane, I can't help such kind of person to achieve his or her own website demand cos he or copied everything from me, and that's outrageous.

I want to believe that there are regulatory bodies or websites that keep websites in check so if there is any problem arising between two websites, the regulatory bodies should be informed.

How do you deal with someone who blatantly copied your site nearly down to the T? All the way down to the theme your site uses then plays it off like they weren't trying to completely rip off your site and have the guts to actually register on your site to ask you for help on how to achieve a certain thing?

I guess I should be flattered someone wanted to copy my work but in all seriousness, it's just really annoying. What's the best way to deal with this?
Am sure there are ways to tame the site, first of all google AdSense doesn't accept a plagiarise content not to talk of a whole site that was copied. You can contact the owner for clarification before taking any Action.

Actually it is not good to copy others contents without their consents. Apart from that, it is good to be original in one's contents. But I think there is a way to program a website so that the contents cannot be copied. And the worse part is that these copycats won't put even a reference link to the sources they copied from. They just claim the contents as theirs.

Oh God this is the worst. You just have to report them. Make it known to your followers that there's a copy cat. They are not Ashamed of themselves

I would reach out to the site owner and ask them to not steal your content, and ask if it's not changed in a certain timeframe, you'll be taking it up with your lawyers. Sometimes sending them a letter from your lawyer(s) will help push them to stop.

But, if they change it enough to where it's their own, you probably won't be able to do much. A lot of sites copy the same layout/look, etc. As long as it's not stealing an idea and or art/graphics/assets/name etc, than I think they're free to do it.

Seriously, it's very frustrating getting to see a lot of people being copycats when it comes to working online and I keep on asking myself why are they so lazy that they can work out something to write by themselves instead of copying another person's work.

Well in such situation it's regarded as plagiarism that is the extent of copyright or copying from another's person work without his permission or concerns I think the simplest way is to hand him over to the security agencies and demand the work to be condemned.

The only way i think you can use in dealing with copy cat is by taking and Dragon them to th law to deal with them , copycat sometimes takes all the glory that's meant to The owner of the work.

What agencies can you report them to. Don't tell me the police cos over here they don't even take it as a crime. Most times there's always nothing to be done

Communicate to your friend about how her copycatting makes you feel. Let her know that it either frustrates you or makes you uncomfortable.

It's quite annoying that someone copied your creative work, copying your website look entirely. At least when copying not mainly copying everything, including the look of the theme. Their should be difference maker at least. I understand, we look up to some webmasters sites/contents for inspiration but not to copy everything they put down on their site.

I think the first thing to do is to contact the person and ask them to take down that site. If they refuse to do that, the you can go through legal means, you can sue them for copying your work.

Best way to deal with a copy cat or some one who copies your work is to make sure you register your business, then if it is for site then try to use a vault during the programming process for the site
