Normally , it will also depend on business because the cost of running and operating a business for 24-hours might likely be expensive considering the price of petrol for generators and also the payment of employees . you must be able to make back all the money you are using as expenses.

Well, given the example you cited, it can be understandable for a mall to want to open for continuous long hours so they can meet the needs of customers but for a normal business say an office for example continuous working hour shouldn't be long, the employees should also be considered.

One of the hngs that we have to include in our new line of business is that we keep the call botton at 24hour period,so that when a client wants our services there is always a number to call,we usually step in when the other person is not avialable.

For a store the operating hours is a big factor for the customers. Malls are now operating but on a limited period from 11 am to 8 pm although on weekends the mall hours are from 10 am to 9 pm. I think the operating hours is important for the customers to be retained. The nearest convenience store in our home opens at 6 am and closes at 9 pm. But it has a lunch break from 12 noon up to 3 pm. The customers are shifting to another store that is not near but it is a good alternative when the nearby store is closed during the lunch break.

There are a few stores that run for long hours and even for 24 hours. However, the number of those stores are not that huge at all. Majority of the stores get closed.

Yes there are very few stores that run on a 24 hour basis. It is chiefly because of insecurity and power outages. And also, most people do not prefer night life over here.

It might be preferable because people have different shopping patterns with regards to time. However, it might come with an extra cost to the entrepreneur because it will increase the workload he's facing.

They are supposed to have some kind of shifting in their break periods. A situation where some set of staff members stay back to attend to customers while others go for break. Letting all staff members go on a break is poor staff control and won't work well in the long-term.

Yes, this is a good approach. However, we must understand that not all the business would be able to run 24/7 and this is why they have specific timings when it comes to running business that may suit employees. There is only one single store in our area that is open 24/7.

Yes of course, it's not possible for all businesses to be open 24/7. This would mean that no one is going to have a life of their own since we are all working all the time. It's the nature of a business that makes it run all throughout the day and night.

What you have written is very true, in my area where I live most stores are not open till about 9am and this irks me as there are times I need some things earlier than this, if another store opens up with early opening hours I'm certainly switching

Any store which haven't opened for business by 9am in the morning isn't serious with their business. It might be the manager's problem because a business owner will not be in bed after 9 in the morning without being out for his business.
