You have raised points that are interesting and valid. To be realistic however, most job seekers are very desperate that they do not really make investigations or inquiry about the nature of reputation of the workplace.
That's if you stay in some countries where there is job scarcity. Or you are are not confident enough about your qualifications. Anyone who is searching for a job shouldn't put him or herself in danger just because they want a job.

The issue of unemployment is getting rampant lately and people are hungry , and they tend to put themselves at risk because they have their family to cater for ,so they prefer working anywhere .

That's true, a lot of people are going into jobs they do not like because they actually need it in order to cater their family. So the scarcity on jobs has made people to work in jobs that does not worth it at all.
 
When I was running my offline business, I did have a good relationship with my customers as well as the public. I think people did not have any reason to say anything negative about my company. As an online entrepreneur working hard to generate sales, I cannot say if I have good reputation because I am just a small seller.
