I use to have this believe that what is yours will always be yours, when you go for an interview vmjust be yourself,be truthful and sincere, most person end up lying even when the interviewer is smarter than them.

Qualifications is another factor. There are jobs you know you are capable of doing but simply becos you that have a paper qualifications you lost the opportunity

One of the absolute most typical error that expense task hunters coming from obtaining the task they been applicable for is actually possessing a poor CV. If the CV is actually certainly not effectively prepared as well as ready it might discourage all of them coming from obtaining the task they been applicable for even though they get approved for the task. Another one is actually certainly not possessing sufficient expertise for the task.

Some even come in forgetting the type of company they have applied into as a result of applying to multiple companies, this is a serious case of being unprepared.

Being late to a business interview is the
worst thing. this is a pure indication that you will not take the business serious if you are finally employee into the business ,it is a Bad sign and all employees should try and avoid this at all costs.

I'll say the common mistakes is not really dependent on the CV but how less you present yourself. If you're unable to impress the Managers with your skills as you claim to have in your CV, showing up late for an interview and perhaps also having an unstructured resumé.

Someone who has an interview scheduled earlier and is coming about two hours late and blaming the traffic for it cnt obviously be taken taken seriously for the Job

I believe lack of confidence and bad etiquettes also play a role in disqualifing candidate from job interviews,in my country nepotism and corruption play roles too

Yes your very good and well polished resume will not cut if for you in an interview when your physical appearance and demineure does not match it. That is going to be a very negative result for you

Hard Truth: Your good résumé is never enough to get the job you want.

I've screened résumés (manually & via the ATS) and conducted countless interviews for years and observed that a good number of times, individuals do not match their résumés. This is mostly revealed during the interview process where candidates show up unprepared.
Common mistakes that cost Job Opportunities.

1. Showing up late: This happens even during virtual Interviews. I've experienced candidates show up after almost 30minutes of the scheduled time. That's a red flag.
You're right.
Most job seekers do not fit into their résumés.
Some can not even defend what they write in there.
During interviews, you begin to wonder if a CV has become fiction.

Many of us have a job, but we lack a bigger vision for our career. When we don’t have a bigger picture of where our career is headed, we often find that although we are good at meeting company goals, we feel personally directionless. When this happens, we must step back and take a broader view of our skills, talents and what is meaningful to us so that we can develop a clear career strategy.

Lack of good communication skills and impatience is also some of it.
I have withness a man lose a job because he wasn't patient enough to wait for his turn during an interview session.
And a lot of situation when it comes to communication

As a man or a lady going for an interview, one should learn how to dress cooperately, I have seen someone go for an interview and he wore native just because it was on Friday. Unless stated, you should always dress cooperate to an interview

So true, apart from that, there are also other things that can reduce ones chances of being successful after being interviewed. First, your CV must be convincing and your answers must correspond with the content. Also, your carriage and dressing also matters a lot.

Some job seeker's resume does not even match the personalities you interview.
A simple question you throw at them from their CVs, and they are thrown off balance.
Some people lose their confidence immediately they are on the 'hot seat'

common mistake in business, the best mistake that one can make is venturing into a business without having the idea ,or without planning ,this is the best mistake that you can make

Another common mistake I found out from a HR personnel that job seekers constantly make is using the same CV for all types of job openings - forgetting that each job comes with its custom demands.
Also inputting outdated information is another mistake, not highlighting their achievements enough is another.

I think your CV and the first impression you make on your interviewers really matters. Your CV is the accurate description of your skills and your abilities and most employers really lay emphasis on it.

There are two things that will make me not to give any worker a job during an interview if I am a manger, one coming late to the interview secondly, lieing or taking things or lifestyle
