What do your members want in the community is probably the best way to solve this. On Christianity Haven, we tried different things and my members didn't want it. They prefer to have discussions that haven't been done to death and aren't into the frills of trophies or being a member of the month. They return to the site to see how they contribute according to their beliefs and opinions. It's what they've told me, so I don't waste my time trying to do other things.

But on Promotion Future, the majority of those members are from other sites that have features and they expect them to be included. We have to figure out which ones are best and which ones aren't going to benefit the community.
