Can we say betting is an investment or Business

In my own opinion betting is not an investment but gambling. Gambling means its two chance game of win or loose. Either you loose or you gain. So if you've put in money you might loose it or gain it. But in an investment is getting profit your risk there is little percentage and patient but you will get your profit

In my opinion betting is an investment albeit a risky one you put in some amount of money and expect a returns at the stipulated time, you are not directly involved in the runnings of the business.

Based o my own policy I will count betting as an investment neither will I count it as a business because to me it is neither of the two, reason is that betting is a scheme of gambling, there is no transaction of tangible thing or exchange of product between the parties other than placing a bet or predicting what will happen in the next.

Betting is not an investment it is just a game or Ponzi where you are fully aware that the tendency to gain is much low compared to loosing . It is never a business nor investment because business and investments have high level of protection.
