can the traffic from regular posters on the site increase site revenue?

At least with the increase traffic, the forum can utilize better options to monetize the site. When it comes to any site growth, the first thing that you should build first, should be the traffic high, then other things can come in.

This is possible as long as the site is running ads. With the increase in the number of traffic increases the chances that some of them will click on any of the displayed ads which will result to payment.
Good point there too. It is very possible as you have rightly said. The more the traffic, the more the likelihood of these traffics to click on the ads which in turn increase revenue for you as well

If the forum or website have more than 5,000 active members who drop at least a minimum of 30 comments in a day, there is a big possibility of making good money from it.
Yes, 5,000 active members brings very high traffic to a website. And that will surely attract big sponsors to come and partner with the forum site and promote their own business and more funds enter.

Sure, if 1000 active members are turning up consistently, it will surely keep the forum very high in traffic, and that is a plus for any forum Admin to utilize and drive more revenue to the forum. Better traffic level, means more making money opportunities for websites.

There are 144 members on this site. Let say only 100 people are active and they posts on 10 different threads. There will be 1000 visits on the site. Can this traffic from regular poster actually help in revenue generation?
It can definitely help a foreign such as this one in order to generate more income from the advertising agencies however at the same time they need to generate new traffic because I think that advertising agencies only pay you with such an amount for a constant user that is active on the website.

You may not benefit much if you are using CPC ads because if regular visitors click on ads, it might be considered click fraud. However, regular visitors might earn from CPM ads.

I think that is what forums and other websites like and prefer, dedicated posters so that they know the numbers to work with than just some random numbers.

Posting from regular members of the forum actually increases the revenue of the forum as they will increase the traffic that is going to the website and also the increased the contents on the website which advertisers look out for before advertising their goods and services on websites.

There should be more than enough traffic before money can be generated. And whether multiple posts or clicks by one person will be tagged one or based on the number of click vary. Some regard it as one while other based on number of clicks

I don't think so you will get any decent amount of money unless you are using CPM related ads which also count 1 view a day so not big hope for me, you must have more unique members to see better results.

For you to increase traffic on your website especially a website like this, you need to create SEO friendly contents so that there will be visitors from Google.

4 FACTORS FOR LONG-TERM SITE TRAFFIC
in order to increase website revenue from ads (or from any other monetization channel, actually) – the 2 important levers to sustain are: (1) Number of Users; (2) Value of Existing Users.

Under these two main levers are 4 factors:

Unique User Growth
Revenue per Page view or RPM
Pageviews per Visit or Depth of Visit
Visits per User or Loyalty

Depends on the advertiser. If the advertiser counts every visits, you can earn well. For example, if someone visits your site and makes 10 page visits and the advertiser counts this as 10 ad impression, you may earn well fro CPM ads.
