Back up your system

How often do you back up your computer system?

I have an external hard drive and I didn't realize it had been 3 years since my last back up!! It really didn't seem that long. It's a good idea to get into a discipline of doing it routinely because you just never know when things could go bad.

I try to back up all my important files once every couple of months. My PC is dying on me and I really need a new one, there have been times I've had to re-install Windows and lost everything so I try to back up all my important files now. My PC is so bad it won't install the latest Windows 10 update, it just keeps failing every time I try. A USB stick I had for awhile also no longer recognized by my PC.

Good thing I have most of my stuff backed up already.
