Acceptable behavior to customer

I have a question related to the business and behaviour regarding the involvement of a sense of humuor. humuor is subjective and what one person believes to be funny, another is offended. By the same token, something funny today may offend me tomorrow. Does humour need to be critically analysed so as to prevent ill timed awkward situations.?
We are different kind of people with different behaviour , attitude and mindset , so we behave practically differently to situations , what i might get angry at today might make me laugh tomorrow.

A good sense of humour can be quite charming but in a business environment it should not be overdone. This is to prevent unnecessarily annoying someone or been seen as unserious.
Good sense of humor is very vital in most businesses to advance, the way you treat your customers is very important if you ever want to experience good profit.

I fully agree with humor because that can somehow ease the budding tension. There is one market vendor who is always trying to be funny. He has lots of customers because buyers find him a jolly fellow who has a smiling face. Even if his jokes are corny people appreciate his dry humor.
 
This may not actually be necessary and you do not really have to consider this as a way of attracting people into your business, you only have to allow conversation to flow naturally without trying hard to be funny, is not really necessary in a business.

Having a good sense of humour always creates a good environment between the customer and the business owner, I have met with a shop owner that always say sorry for every complain a customer brings even if the customer is at the wrong side.
 
You have to be respectful and you should avoid treating them with nonchalant attitude. You must be to listen to their complain and ensure their are always satisfied anytime the come to do business with you.
 
The acceptable behavior to customers cannot determine exactly, but customers always right. We have to excersise patient when we attend to customers, because most of them cause problem when discuss about the price of the products when the prices in that shop is not the same with another shop,so they want to know what causes changes in prices.
 
Although most customers are arrogant and disrespectful in nature simply because they believe they are the one spending money in patronising and since you are taking the money so that you can survive you business, we dont have any choice than to treat them with respect.

Customers sometimes get upset, or are angry by nature, and become irrational. Many times, agents know how to defuse the situation, calm customers and close the exchange on a professional, satisfied note
 
Anyone in my opinion that has an issue with humour has a bigger challenge because truth be told, we all laugh and need laughter as well.
Happiness is key to our daily living and humor is a good way to be happy.
 
Having a good sense of humour do helps irrespective of where not it's important to know when to do and when not, when it's too much, one shouldn't lose sight of his duties and what's really important
 
People are raised from different backgrounds, so it'll depend on the environment you come from. What's comical to me might not be the same to you, because different environments has different behaviour and people's take on certain issues.
When it comes to how you treat your customers it is actually very important that you treat them very well because the existence and survival of your business depends on their patronizing the business.

Customers should always be treated in a well respectable manner , because they are the existence of your business by patronising you , you ought to take proper care of them .
 
In as much as the role of professionalism needs to be employed in the discharge of our duties as an interface figure of an organisation,one should know when to bring in humour in course of his duties,it should'nt be just arbitrary on every ocassion.
 
That depends on the passive of the bearer, because friends can crack jokes in a simple way that will not result to quarrels in as much boundaries are kept, and the friend or customer is happy.

If a business owner or the customer representativeshave a good sense of humour which is what most customers like and appreciate than a business owner that always harsh towards his customers.
 
Using of humour is one of the things that can be able to create good rapport with the customer but then it should be done in a strategic way. You should not make it in such a way that the customer is going to pick offence because that is going to be even worse.
 
Humors can put a smile on so many people's faces. Inasmuch as this should be critically analyse to avoid problems, it is always very important for us to allow it flow naturally to avoid being in awkward situation. Natural jokes are the best.
 
There are sometimes in which customers are going to display some kind of behaviours that you do not like but you should text much as possible not to retaliate in a rude or annoying manner.
