Have you ever had this sort of message:

your details match those of a known spammer, therefore you have been disallowed registration.

I've had it before and can't think why... I'm not exactly a spammer. The sites where the message is displayed I have never been on before.. It's a bit odd.

I believe that the forum is running an add-on which prevents people using proxies to join the website - your IP must be similar to one of the blocked proxies. At least this is the reason why I couldn't register on couple of forums.

That would be a bit strange but I suppose it's a possibility - although it's a NZ IP so....

It's a security plugin that helps handle spam. People can submit any address they want to block and you could have just pissed someone off. lol

LOL What trickery is this!!!

Sometimes it is the email address. Try getting an email forwarder (Bigfoot or 33mail). Sometimes an email is commonly mistaken for the email of another spammer (that has happened to me a lot).
