It is not even a possibility that Twitter will force anyone to pay. But if that becomes a case I will probably leave the social Media platform. The only people that are required to pay are those who want their account verified.

I have never bothered about paying for Twitter account verification. Personally, I don't see any need for having Twitter blue verification. As a result of that, I will never care about paying for it. Should Elon Musk makes Twitter a paid to use social media, I will gladly quit using it. There are so many other social media platforms to use.
