Why do you want to work online?

What is your main reasoning for wanting to work online? Are there any jobs located near you that you could do? I imagine you'd probably make more money that way. But what is your reason for wanting to work online? For me, it was just the ability to not have to drive to a job, clock in, and so on. Being my own boss is far more appealing.

Personally I think that it is the convenience of working that makes a lot of people choose to work online because you get to determine when and how you want make money for yourself and not answering to anyone.

Personally, I am currently working online because I am yet to find an offline job. Which I would really prefer because I am not earning that much online. So for me to move out of my parent's home and pay my own bills, I will have to search for an offline job. But I won't stop working online in the paid to post forums I am active in, it will be my source of side income.

When I started freelancing in the internet it was just for fun and to test if there is really money to be earned. On my first 3 tries they all failed. That's history and now I was proven right that you can really earn money by doing work online. My forte is the paid posting on forums. It is also fun.
