Good point,,re pm’s which begs another question..,if a user tells you they are being abused in pm..would you log pm’s? This is something I have NEVER done..and have no wish too.

This is why platforms have the “report PM” feature - if they’re being abused, they can and should report it.

pms are stored in the db if you ever need access. But i wouldn’t as that infringes upon user privacy

That's why you definitely tell people to use the report feature, and in case you're worried they aren't aware about it have a FAQ topic/section that would tell users how to report such things. Posts and/or PM's.
