When is the right time to hire an additional staff?

As a business owner that is expanding his or her business. What is the factor that you always consider before hiring an additional staff for your business?

Personally, I believe that when it's the best time to hire a new staff in any business establishment is when it's very obvious that more hands are needed to get the business activities going well. If there's no need for that, getting more staff is waste of funds on salaries.

If your current staff are not meeting up with deadline and increasing demands of your business products, more staffs are needed to increase productivity.
