You are right. Having a growing profit is not a reason to hire an added employee. The hiring is due to the need or when there is a vacant position. For a temporary overload you can hire a temporary worker only.The mistake some business owners make is that they do hire many workers especially when they see that there is boom in their bhsiness but they should hire when they are not able to cater for the number of customer.

You have a point there. When the workload is over the capacity of the workers then they will have to work overtime and you pay them premium with the overtime pay but the efficiency is lesser (because they are already tired).
