I would have to say at the moment, setting myself tasks and goals has helped make a big difference in my life. Before I would run around trying to do so much and then realize that I hadn't done enough and would beat myself up about it.

Having tasks and goals has now helped me to stay on track and feel like I am getting somewhere.
 
Stop caring what people think of me so much. I was so self-conscious in my teens and younger twenties that I had extreme social anxiety, but realizing no one is perfect and some people are jerks gave me a better peace of mind about what people think of me. I think growing older will usually make you feel less self-conscious as you mature.
