What do you budget for your marketing?

Marketing is very important when it comes to putting your brand out there. Without an
extensive marketing of your project, it's going to impact negatively on your visibility which wouldn't be good for your business. But it's crucial to manage cost when working with a marketing strategy in order to minimise cost and maximize profit making.

How do you work out your budgeting for your marketing?

It depends on the product or services I am marketing. Let's say I am selling something, I will try to set a budget as high as I can. That's because even a couple of sales can easily recover your marketing budget. However, if I am marketing for branding or just web traffic, I try to set a low marketing budget as I do not get any immediate benefit.

When it comes to a budget for marketing, I tend to stay as low as possible for things such as traffic as I know how long it could take before I see any results from my investment and putting too much in too early could easily land you with a huge loss.
