What are key skills for business development?

Concerning the question, you have to have a good financial background. You must also have good marketing strategy.These two fundamental skills is very important because without those you can't make any money in your business to grow forward.

As for me for strong business development you must have good advertisment and know what you doing based on the business matter and also you really need fundamental skills because it's really very important because without those you can't make any money in your business to grow forward
 
Communication is the best skill. Some business owners are losing clients and customers because they lack communicative skill. They don't knw how to entice customers to patronize them. They speak bluntly and frankly which is not that good as a business owner.
 
Constant evaluation of yourself and business is key. Don't be too ambitious, when you reach your target, stop and be grateful. Don't let overconfidence push you and in the heat of excitement commit blunders. You have to be very careful so that you won't be lost or be at a loss in your business. Constantly go through your plans and if you think that there is something in it that needs amendment take time to carefully correct it.
 
Money is a vital element of any plan to set up a business. Apart from this money aspect there are also other things that are required for a business to blossom. An entrepreneur requires many skills that he needs to navigate the problems of a business. I will talk about 2 skills that I thinks are important too.

Accounting skill: you don't need to be an accountant to account for money that goes in or out of you business, this skill helps you to plan properly and to know the true position of things in the business.

2. Networking skills: In today's world your network goes a long way to determine your net worth, but many of us lack this skill, I'm not exempting myself, it is important to develop that business.
 
I dont believe in special skills in business for your business to grow there are several thinga that can bring business down even with so called special skill. Just stay true to your work and never give up
The key skills to business growth and development is delivery of quality and qualitative service should be rendered to clients or customers,also in terms of good the product should be made out of standard raw materials. Then customers needs are being meet and they continue the patronage.
 
Skills for starting a business could be marketing skills, information skills, verbal communication skills, oral communication skills, negotiating skills, technological skills and other interpersonal skills. Never stop to learn when you get into business.

There is many skills for business few of them like mind creativity, strenght, man power, products quality, create good relation with customer and employes these all and many more like this will important key skills for any business.
 
In business development the role of empowering and equipping the man power factor is a must. This is because if they have an adequate and updated information they will be able to do the work well. It is just garbage in garbage out.
 
A business developer has many roles and responsibilities in a company. To be successful, he needs a really huge range of business development skills and qualities, because achieving and maintaining a company growth is one of the most difficult tasks in the whole business area.
