Web 2.0 sites are the sites that can be used by people to create and share content. Social media sites (facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.), doogle docs, flikr, wordpress, blogger, youtube, etc. basically, web 2.0 sites are user generated content sites.

So the sites where we can create content and share content are web 2.0 site. IN other words social networking sites, social bookmarking, sites, forums, bloogins sites all are web 2.0 sites.

Web to site are definitely website where we can share and promote content and this side normally as a mechanism for sharing and promoting content for example all social networks are in the category of web to search

Web 2.0 sites can help in driving traffic and also improving your position on SERP. However, before you can expect traffic and high rank on SERP, your website should feature valuable content.

web 2.0 sites are mainly used for building backlinks, social signals and traffic. However, just because you dropped your links on web 2.0 sites does not mean you will gain traffic

True. Just because you share links does not mean people will flock on your site, you will have to work on SEO, digital marketing and content development.

I'm just hearing about this "web 2 sites" for the first time. Does it mean it's two websites merged together? I would really like to know what this web 2 site is all about.
