Invisible Mode is a feature that allows you or any other member to set up their online status not be seen whenever they are online. Do you like having that feature on your forum? If you're making use of Proboards, staffs can be able to see those who use the Invisible Mode online. But, I don't seem to understand why someone wouldn't like to been seen online when they are online? What's the reason behind using it?

Some people are so conscious about their online presence that they want to remain anonymous and hidden when they are using a website. Invisible mode is the feature for these people.

I know that many members would like to remain invisible on many forums and websites. However, I do not see that as a major issue. I think that members who prefer privacy might need such options and this is understandable.

Actually sometimes people are sef conscious of their active ness identify on a forum due to some reasons. personally even on social media platforms my active status is always off.

Some people wish to stay anonymous and hidden when utilizing a website since they are so mindful of their online presence.
For these people, the feature is invisible mode.

I think it's a form of security measure by those who use it but it'll not be a good feature to incorporate because of the singular reason of statistics and growth tracking. It's better to have all information so you and other potential investors or advertisers can see how well you're doing.

I am a fan of using incible mode in WhatsApp. The Reason I like using incible mode is to avoid unnecessary charts and to escape peoples evidence of me not replying to there previous messages intentionally

To hide their tracks. What if they just want to browse the forums without posting anything? In those cases, they would want to hide their presence to just see what's going on in the forum.

I used to make use of it in my forum as I don't want my users to keep on complaining about lack of features, when they see me online(they would keep on tagging me if they sense my presence).

There could be other reasons too. If they just want to monitor some thread or some user, then they wouldn't want that person to find out about their presence. So probably they would go for invisible mode to hide themselves.

This invisible mode is very helpful and interesting. I have been using it in Facebook and WhatsApp to avoid unnecessary distraction just as you pointed out. Incible mode is superb

i used to like that feature when i was using gb whatsapp, it was really fun then as i was feeling invisible, till i discovered i could not back up my chat using gb whatsapp, that was a real turn off for me

No, i would not like to have that feature on my forum. I mean, i don't see why i would set up a feature where other members can't see when one is online.

I haven't enabled this option on the forum script. I will have to check there is this option enabled or disabled by default. I don't see why some wants to hide his or her online status while posting on the forum..I never use hide option on the forum I post.
