Neil Patel's comment on this issue is that it takes one year before anything substantial happens. In other words, you see a 49 percent increase over the first year, and of course, if you don't try hard at SEO (my opinion), then, of course, nothing much happens.
Anyway, who has tried any sort of SEO endeavor? How long did it take to get real results? Did the real timing shock you? How hard did you or someone else work on the SEO?
Myself, I got some good results for SEO around 2011 for some terms related to employment. In fact, I earned a few hundred USD a month from Bing and Google traffic.
