I've been a bit busy in Photoshop the last few days. Mainly designing some favicons and avatars. Also made a few for Discussion Block. All pretty similar, but it was fun nonetheless. They were designed in 512x512 and sized down. Click on them to see the full result.

It is wonderful how you have used shadows and gradients. Really love the glossy look.

Blue is a bit on the stronger side. Possibly due to the branding.

Thank you! Appreciate that you see the gradients and shadows. ☺️ Yeah, blue is indeed due to branding.

Can you tell us a bit about how you do the glossy feel? Never managed to get enough advise on that area.

Blue and glossy are a perfect combination.

I’ll share my screens for the settings when I’m home. :)

Awesome!!

I was told it is the right combination of white and dark. I do too much shadows and spoil it in most cases. Always failed to stop when required :p

There are several methods in doing gloss, but mostly I use the Satin layer style to create gloss. It’s also perfect for adjusting the strength of the gloss. But I’ll share them in an hour or two. :D

Sure, no hurry.

I have no idea what a Satin layer is :(

Time to learn a few tips. Glad that you are ok with sharing the secret.
