Considering that a single proprietorship business makes the owner personally liable for the losses and debts of the business, a prospective business owner may want to look at options where he can have limited liability and still be the decision-maker and top manager of the company. There is such a thing as a one-person corporation. You can incorporate your small business and enjoy limited liability. In case of losses or bankruptcy, the creditors or banks can only run after the assets of the business, and not after your personal assets.

The main issue faced by a single ownership business is lack of investment. When the owner cannot invest more, the business will never grow.
This is actually true with capital in availability of those that want to go into sole proprietorship because without the capital for them to do the business is going to be very big challenge for them.

It is nice to have a business of your own that you are the one who makes the final decision. However, you should also consider a partnership of a corporation where the other owners can help you not in the operation but in the promotion of the business. Their contacts can be your clients.

The one I'll always prefer is the sole proprietorship type, where i have the chance to make my decisions regarding the future of the business and taking risks all alone to make sure the business is up and running.

You can sustain your business if you are determined enough to make it as a sole proprietor.

Sole proprietorship could offer you the freedom to run your business without any conflict. When it comes to partnership-based business, you may have conflicts with the other person.

It depends on rules and regulation. I have come to find out that most people who have problems in their businesses with other business partners is always as a result of lacks of rules and regulations. There are some business rules that must not be broken .We just have to engage in partnership business with honest people and everything will all runs smoothly.
