Which social media sites do you use? Twitter, tumblr? I use reddit and tumblr.

Reddit is most effective and can drive most traffic than tumblr. You are on the right track.

I use Google+ on a daily basis because I own a 25,000 community called Share YouTube Videos. We are a YouTube promotional community and we have a Discord server, Google+ community, and a forum. I spend quite allot of my time moderating the Google+ Community to enforce the rules.
