What do you do for your job? If that’scnot too personal. I’m a software dev
It's totally fine. I'm an Aerospace Electronics Engineer who works in designing electronic modules that help aeroplanes in navigation communication, take off and landing safely.😄

I have two part-time jobs and I'm sure you still make way more than I do!
Maybe but it's sometimes not enough if the cost of living is high in the place you're staying. You might earn more but mostly you'll have lesser saving than someone who is earning lesser but staying in a place with low cost of living. In India, they pay more in the cities with high cost of living. For the same profile they'll pay way lesser in a city where cost of living is less.

The cost of living is weird and I wish it were just consistent no matter where you are. I don't know if I'll ever have enough money to live on my own due to the cost of living.

True.. due to inflation it is getting worse. You have to earn really really good to build your own empire.

You don’t get rises at all ?
We do but nowhere near the rate of inflation. i thought that was bad enough 😭
True! The rises never match the inflation rate! Reason why many people switch to a different company which offers a far better package in every 3-4 years.
