At the beginning of summer we outlined our Summer Updates here at Admin Junkies but the eagled-eyed amongst you will have noticed a few big updates did not drop in September. This is because of various upgrades to the backend infrastructure here at AJ which we wanted to complete first. But now that's complete:
We're proud to announce today the return of our popular site battles competition, with a twist! The Monthly Battle is the new name for the section, and as the name suggests, we will be holding one big monthly battle between interested sites.
How does this work? you may be asking - well let us tell you! Our Monthly Battle is organized as a round robin tournament with a 7 day entry window, and a 21 day voting and competition window. In the first week, interested sites enter and are pooled into a tournament bracket with other entrants - in the 21 day period, every site verses one another accumulating wins and loses. These are then totaled at the end of the month and the site with the most wins crowned victorious. More fair, more equal and more competitive!
