Signature Promotion

We've been playing with the idea but haven't made a decision either way yet. Seems like an inexpensive way to get added exposure and exposure is everything.

There is also the boost to your reputation if you put you banner or link in a reputable members signature.

I've never purchased a member's signature. However, on a very large webmaster forum, I am currently selling my signature line. Most months I have 2 - 4 backlinks sold in the signature line. There are nearly 9000 posts on that forum, so my posts are literally everywhere. I'm not sure what SEO value the backlink has but it helps drive traffic to the links in the signature line, just from clicks alone. I used to be moderator on that site, so that helps.

I've never bought these but I've been selling them for years. A LOT of webmasters purchase this type of backlinks. Out of the hundreds of clients, a lot of repeat customers as well, I have had no complaints about the service and results.

Flashy banners have worked for me but small text links have not. You have to have something that will catch the eyes of people as they are quickly scrolling down.

I always thought that this doesnt work , was I wrong. I got a few members of a promotion site with a lot of posts to promote my site and my traffic increased instantly :D

i agree i added a small logo to the minecraftforums.net in my signature and its currently a top 20 in my site referrals

They surely do help, I make sure to make use of my signature on most forums I post on. A great way to advertise your website.

Never tried this to be honest but I can see how it would work though if you could get someone who is a regular member on a forum that would benefit you to have your link in their signature for a fee. If they are regular posters on the forum then it's definitely more exposure for you and your website.

I never tried to buy forum signature; but i believe that it is a nice way to promote your stuff to people who really care. I try to create posts and add the signature myself. I optimize my participation by creating threads and keep adding at least one reply per popular page topics. I tried to sell forum signature once but it did not perform well! :)
