Should you archive content every year?

It will be very good to achieved that every year if actually its possible, because that depends on the activities you really get, personally I think is best way to achieve that.

I wouldn't advise that because sometimes people may want to refer to your previous post so how I'll they feel if they return to your page and realized that the post has been deleted.

It's not a good advice to delete content but it's pretty cool if you could save them in archive. Possibly, you can update them too . Having said that, it's good to have backups so as not to risk losing all your contents. It has happened to me once .

I think archiving your posts on your blog would be better than removing it and saving it else where (that could be very tedious) or even keeping old and new contents together.

Archiving is essential, I remove irrelevant treads from my forum and archive them. Outdated threads or discussions just burden the forum. It's better to achieve them to make your website light and fast.

I think that it is good to keep the old content on the site as well because that way you can easily keep track and people can go back as far as they want to in order to see the content that you have as well.

We recommend archiving most blogs. Blogging on a monthly basis is good. It's good that you decided to do it. Once you have it in your mind, hopefully you will act on it next time. I get what you mean, but annual archives and such are a hassle. Although it depends on the activity you get. Activity should be taken monthly.

It's preferable if you do that occasionally. If you ever wish to make a reference to a previous piece of work, this will also be helpful. or if you unintentionally lost your data.
