Many of us here at Admin Junkies may have only been creating websites and communities for a short while but many of us have been creating them for many years.

Over those years of creating websites and forums, there will have more than likely been some success stories. I love to see success stories whether the sites are still around or not.

I will start. I started a forum back in 2009 which was a general chat forum, unfortunately, due to hosting costs increasing and the feeling of burnout, I closed the site down and moved on to something new. There isn't a day goes by that I don't regret closing the site but I know how I felt at the time, it felt like it was the right idea.

Wayback machine brings up something but it's not the greatest, you can see the stats, this was a few months before I closed.

I started my current forum 6+ years ago and it seems to gain 20+ members monthly. I try to keep the resources flowing in consistently, being a forum resources message board. I am 8 posts away from 17,000 posts and 170 members away from 2000 members. I have converted many skins that used to be on the ZetaBoards network and will likely continue to do so.

I had a community for the game Mighty No. 9 that was founded before the official forums. I had over 100 members and it was the largest forum I have ever owned. It's back online but I haven't had anyone log back in unfortunately. It was fun speculating how the game was going to be like, sadly the game wasn't that great when it finally came out after a few delays.
