Selling the samples on YouTube?

I have found out that there are many artists selling the tracks and samples on youtube. The youtube creator studio has the collection of free and paid sample marketplace where you can use the sound samples and add that into the video. It seems like a good passive income option where you can just do things once and then get paid on recurring basis.
