Rep system for mybb

Mybb clearly indicated that, reputation is going to be removed in 2.0 version. I don't know why but I sort of prefer reputation over likes. May be because "reputation" sounds good to hear and all.

Anyway, I hope they would just convert the present reputation as likes or I hope they will add that as a plugin.
So, what do you guys think of reputation system in mybb?

Sometimes people would also create multiple accounts to get more rep which made them look stupid.

What's so different from likes?
They can make multiple accounts to get more likes. I have seen that in facebook and such and believe me, it's absolutely, positively pathetic to no end. I am not so sure, what sort of satisfaction they get by showing off their likes but, almost everyone can see that those are not legitimate accounts right away.

Anyway, the same thing "rep abuse" can happen with likes. So, I don't see the point anymore.

It got annoying because anyone that got a negative reputation just complained. It's better to have the like system
