They are both lucrative depending on the products you are importing from abroad. Real estate needs some form of education or training to be successful in it but in importations you do not need much training to be an importer of goods from another country.

I feel real estate is more lucrative than importation business and also easier than it because you can do real estate business in your country but importation involves two or more countries.

Both real estate investments and importation business are lucrative. but the reason why I am going to choose a real estate investment is that it is capable of bringing residual income once you have done the work of acquiring the property at the right location.
