After failing miserably and embarrassingly last week, I finally passed my learners license with one question wrong

No.... We have a learners first. I should have got it last year but I missed the cut off date where it became 16 instead of 15. Then you get restricted and then full.

I will always have that shame of failing the first time on a pretty easy test I failed because I read too fast and skip words a lot of the time....

How do other countries sit theres?

Well we too have the learners test first, then within 6 months the real one. IMO both tests are too easy.

Do you not have a restricted test after the learners but before the full one?

No, nothing like that!
What is this restricted test?

So after you sit your learners you have to wait 6 months before sitting restricted. The restricted license allows you to drive without a supervisor but not late at night nor with any passengers (some exceptions) ....

The restricted test is a theory and practical test- btw I can't edit my post ok now I can odd..

No, the learners is valid for 6 months. You can actually take the real test, the very next day if you want!
