It depends on Google, however they did update the PR only after a year in the last year but since then they have maintianed a decorum of updating it every 3 months last updates have been some thing like this, August, November and latest in February, so we can expect the next update may be around the month of May or June.
I got PR2 from NA for the site which was completely redeveloped and shifted its domain in this update, and also had 2 PR from 1 for other site, happy with this update because it has bought positive results for me
