Does anyone have any idea why namecheap renewal through the app is 200$ more then through the website? I thought it was a glitch cause it did this last year but I just renewed it again and it’s the same thing this year. 227$ on the app but I paid 28$ on the website right after it said that.
Anyone know why or seen this before?

I wasn't even aware that Namecheap had their own app. I always just purchase and renew domains from their website. Have you brought this up to their customer service or billing department? They should look into fixing the problem for their app users.

Even if they did, that's still over priced by any means LOL
