Learn to type?

How fast can you type? When and how did you learn to type? Are you any good at typing?

My typing speed is 60 WPM, I learned to type in high school. I didn't have a computer until 2006, so I took typing class my Freshman year of high school. I'm pretty decent when it comes to typing, I use a computer at work and make tags for my coworkers and they complement me on my typing speed. xD

My typing the last time I checked was 100 words per minute which I thought was really good!

I am self-taught in typing. I used to spend a lot of time on the computer when I was a teenager and also creating websites and then when I turned to forums the more I wrote on forums, the better and faster my typing got.

I don't know how fast I am, but I would think that I am pretty proficient. I am self-taught just being a computer and internet junkie. When I was a kid, we had some typing programs/games, such as one called Typing Tutor that helped you practice your skills. I played that game often for a good while.

I type pretty well. Being someone who has spend all his life with computers, I have a decent typing speed. I can even type without looking at the keyboard which really impresses people who see me doing it hehe 😅

They started teaching typing in high school, I believe. However, I don't type the "proper" way where you have 4 fingers for your left and right hand on the keys. I just type one letter at a time with both hands. I'm not sure what my WPM is, but I'm sure it varies. I can type pretty quickly for the most part.

In high school I typed 115 words correct per minute on average. I was super proud of that fact. I was self taught by using the computer from a young age. I don't think I properly type because I kind of use the correct fingers on the left hand, but I think on the right side I use less fingers.

I was top of my class, self-taught by being on MSN a lot. And things needed to move fast in those days lol. I can't say how fast I am now but i don't type as often anymore.

I can type very fast, but I don't know how fast. Anyway, I learned in high school. It was one of the most useful classes I had. It was on real typewriters 😄

I type pretty fast. Sometimes I make mistakes while typing if I type a little too fast.
I learnt how to type in school and in my free time as I was on the PC quite a bit when I was younger.

I can type fast however since I'm not good with spelling and grammar that delays me from typing fast with any typing games. ANd also I still tend to look at the keyboard while typing LOL - Happit I say even that I can type with no need to look at the keyboard.

I can't imagine using computers and cellphones without being able to type. That's got to be a nightmare. Well, what a lot of people do is use voice to text tools.
